Susana is the Global Head of Consumer & SME Payments Strategy at Swift. In her role, she defines long term strategies for Swift to support the financial community in delivering instant and frictionless payments across the world.

In her professional trajectory with over 20 years of experience, she has developed a payments expertise working for leading financial institutions such as Santander-PagoNxt, in its cross-border payments division, as well as Citi’s credit cards business. 

Susana’s career extends beyond the financial industry, as she has delved into the dynamic world of technology. She held businessleadership roles at Amazon, as well asin the B2B software industry, where she drove digital transformation programs and led go-to-market strategies.

Earlier in her career she was a management consultant at McKinsey, offering strategic guidance to companies in defining their growth plans.
