Swift Compatible Interface Programme

The programme that is aimed at partners and customers that develop Swift interfaces. The programme ensures that the messaging or communication interface products meet Swift's requirements (correct adherence to protocols, implementation of mandatory features compliant with security requirements) and guarantees interoperability between messaging interfaces.

The Swift Compatible Interface Programme covers different messaging protocols, such as FIN, RMA, InterAct store-and-forward, FileAct store-and-forward, FileAct real-time and connectivity, as detailed in the SwiftNet Interface Vendor Specifications.

To be Swift compatible, an interface provider must pass stringent integration testing and meet the conformance requirements defined by Swift. To ensure operability and business continuity, customers must connect to Swift through a compatible messaging interface.

The Swift Compatible Interface Programme also requires compliance of the vendor interface with a set of mandatory and advisory security requirements, derived from the Swift Customer Security Controls Framework Detailed Description.
