Frank Versmessen is Swift’s Head of Customer and Partner Security and Resilience, managing the Customer Security Programme (CSP) and the Shared Infrastructure Programme (SIP) at Swift. These programmes support customers and partners in the fight against cyber fraud and drive industry-wide collaboration.

Between 2014 and March 2019 Frank was Head of Regulatory Affairs at Swift, responsible for monitoring the global regulatory landscape, liaising with regulators, and identifying regulatory-related issues and opportunities.

Previously, Frank was heading the Securities Post-Trade team with focus on equities and fixed income. Then based in Singapore, Frank was responsible for developing Swift’s global strategy in post-trade services.  

Between 1996 and 2010, Frank headed various roles within Swift’s Standards and Securities Markets division, looking after securities standards and large securities MI projects.

Frank started his career at Euroclear and holds a master’s degree in Polytechnic Engineering from the University of Leuven (Belgium).
