Swift Essentials
As an institution that benefits from the Swift Essentials, you are entitled to subscribe to the below list of value-added services.
The below section will guide you in how to order and subscribe your institution to the respective solution.
Place orders
Business Identifier Code (BIC)
The Swift Essentials pack provides the customer with a BIC registration. It includes the annual fee for 10 BICs for a financial institution or a non-financial institution.

RMA
Relationship Management Application (RMA) enables you to manage your Swift business relationships. It prevents you from receiving unwanted traffic, and allows you to receive authorisations from correspondents so that you can send them messages.
RMA service is made available to your institution as part of your onboarding to Swift and therefore requires no ordering. For more information on RMA configuration, please consult the Relationship Management Application support page.
Swift Smart
Swift Smart is an interactive, cloud-based training service that offers a large variety of courses for different levels of knowledge. The courses contain exercises and quizzes and are available in multiple languages.
Swift Smart is made available to your institution as part of your onboarding to Swift and therefore requires no ordering. For more information on Swift Smart, please consult the Swift Smart platform.
User Handbook Online
The Documentation (User Handbook Online) is the set of documents, amended from time to time, that SWIFT provides to its users. The User Handbook includes the documents that form the contractual basis for the operational relationship between SWIFT and any SWIFT user. It also includes descriptive and technical documents where relevant.
Each Swift product and service has a dedicated Product landing page on the Knowledge Centre.

Swift GPI
By embracing Swift GPI – the new standard in global payments – financial institutions are now sending and receiving funds quickly and securely to anyone, anywhere in the world, with full transparency over where a payment is at any given moment. Swift GPI dramatically improves cross-border payments across the correspondent banking network, and not least for corporates for whom speed, certainty and a smooth international payments experience is an absolute must.
Swift Go
With Swift Go, financial institutions can enable their SME and retail customers to send predictable, fast, highly secure, and competitively priced low-value cross-border payments anywhere in the world, direct from their bank accounts.
Payments Pre-validation
Payment Pre-validation aims to reduce friction and make cross-border payments faster by enabling you to validate payment information as soon as possible in the payment process. It also guides you on how to prepare successful payments and suggesting payment corrections.
Case resolution
Enable institutions subscribed to Swift GPI to benefit from the Case resolution functionalities which allow for dynamic query handling between banks on the Swift network. The Case resolution service speeds up the resolution of operational, compliance and regulatory-related issues that can arise along the payments chain.
Case Management
The Case Management services enable every Swift user to benefit from a coherent, comprehensive and universal frictionless experience while exchanging cross border payments onto the Swift network.
The Case Management products suite is composed of:
- The Stop and Recall (SRP) service, which aims at immediately stopping a payment that has been made incorrectly or fraudulently.
- The Case Resolution (CASE) service, which aims at quickly solving an investigation related to missing or incorrect payment information.
Swift Securities View
Swift Securities View offers you a real-time view on every step in the end-to-end two-sided settlement of your securities transactions, preventing costly settlement fails thanks to early discrepancy warnings and improving your overall settlement efficiency.
KYC Registry
KYC Registry is Swift's solution to solve industry challenges and meet evolving KYC regulatory obligations. KYC Registry is designed in collaboration with the community to provide quality KYC data and documents which meet a predefined global standard. It streamlines the KYC process by enabling users to upload, update and manage their own KYC information and exchange it with their counterparties via a secure, centralised platform.
SwiftRef
A secure utility where reference data owners, including banks, central banks, and code issuers can manage and publish their reference data to enable users to find all the data sets they need in one place.

Payment Controls
Swift Payment Controls combines real-time monitoring, alerting and blocking of sent payments, with daily reporting. It helps institutions detect and prevent high risk payments and mitigates business disruption and financial losses in the event of back-office compromise.
Transactions Screening
Note that the Transactions Screening service (TSS) is an opt-in service.
Transaction Screening is a Swift-hosted service that combines a web-based screening application, automatic list updates, an alert management service, and API integration capability to screen transactions in MT and ISO 20022 formats against lists selected by the customers, and if applicable, against customers' private lists and exceptions records in real time.
Note that the Transactions Screening service (TSS) is an opt-in service. In other words, this service is not by default available in the Swift Essentials. When you subscribe to Transactions Screening, Swift will, if applicable, adapt the Swift Essentials contract of all the customers having Messaging BIC(s) in your Screening Utility group.
